“Flushable” wipes (Trust us, they’re not flushable!)
Napkins
Feminine hygiene products
Cloth materials
Cotton balls and swabs

Some of these items might seem safe to flush, but the truth is, they will shorten the life span of your septic system, and can cause major backups. Trust us, you don’t want that! We know that toilet paper can be hard to find right now, but we urge you to stock up when you find some, so you don’t find yourself having to use an alternative, like one of the aforementioned items.
